May 4th 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Kid Fest is one of the largest fundraising events sponsored by Windermere PTO. It will be held on Friday, April 28th 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

This year there will be Games including Pie Face, New Inflatables, Flower for your Teacher, Photo Booth, Spirit Nails, Face Painting, Cake Walk & Decorating Contest and, of course, the Grade Level Theme Basket Raffle. The returning favorites: Get Silly Stringed by your teacher in our ‘Behind the Door Game, ‘Are You Smarter Than A Teacher?’, and Windermere School Detention (collect enough tickets to get your teacher dismissed).

Come for Dinner: For ONLY $5 enjoy the Pizza Meal Deal! Grab a
large slice of cheese or pepperoni pizza along with chips & a drink! Kona Ice Truck is coming TOO!! – CASH ONLY


KidFest T-Shirt:

Don’t forget to preorder your 2017 KidFest t-shirt with our Windermere Hawk dabbing, and wear it to school and to KidFest on Friday, April 28th! Quantities and sizing are limited.

 

 

 

 

 


Silent Auction:

We’ve brought back the silent auction and have some amazing packages we know you will be interested in. For example: reserved seats for the 5th grade musical, dinner at Gallo’s, Ohio Stadium private tour, and plenty more!

The silent auction will be open at 5 pm for bidding and it will close at 7:30 pm, with checkout immediately following. Cash, credit or checks will be accepted.

One of the highlights of this fun, family event are the GIANT raffle baskets! This exciting tradition is always eagerly anticipated and a great fund-raiser! Please click on the provided link to view your child(ren)’s grade basket theme and consider donating. During the week of Kid Fest, these huge baskets will be displayed in the school lobby. Students can choose to fill the raffle boxes with tickets in hopes of winning their favorite themed basket!

Please send all donations in an envelope marked with your child’s name and grade to your child’s classroom by Thursday, April 13th.

Winners of raffle baskets will be announced at 7:45 PM on the 3rd – 5th grade playground.

Kidfest Cake ContestDon’t forget the Cake Walk & Decorating Contest!!

Do you like to bake? Enter the Cake Decorating Contest! You can sign-up when you order your tickets online. 2 winners will receive a baking-theme prize! Decorate your cake to look like your favorite animal, your favorite teacher or your favorite hobby and you might be one of our winners! Please put your first and last name on your cake if you are entering it into the contest and bring it to the Multi Purpose Room stage on Friday, April 28th by 8:30 am.

We will need lots of baked goods for the Cake Walk. Cakes, cupcakes, cookies – whatever you like to bake or buy – bring it! We are happy to have home baked or store bought treats. Drop off your goodies to the stage in the Multi Purpose Room beginning Thursday, April 27th from 8am-6pm or the morning of Friday, April 28th. If your treat is nut or allergen free please label it as such. Please use disposable trays with clear plastic wrap covers.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Set-up (1:30-4:30 p.m.)   Shift A (4:45-6:30 p.m.)   Shift B (6:30-8:00 p.m.)   Clean-up (8:00-9:00 p.m.)

We need 100 volunteers to make this happen. Please consider volunteering for a shift and invite your friends and older children to volunteer as well. Service Hours awarded for Middle Schoolers and High Schoolers.

April 7 – April 21KidFest Pre-sale tickets are on sale on the Windermere PTO website and are priced at 3 tickets for $1. Pre-sale tickets and t-shirts will be sent home on Monday, April 24th in your child’s backpack. KidFest Pre-Sale Ticket/T-Shirt Order Form

Thursday, April 13: Grade level raffle donations due.

April 24 – April 27: Discounted Pre-sale Ticket /Raffle Basket Display (during lunch 11:05 a.m.-12:05 p.m. & after school 2:50-3:15 p.m.)

Thursday, April 27: Last day to purchase discounted tickets.

Note: Cash, check or credit for tickets at school sale and night of the event. Tickets night of the event are 2 for $1.
