Current PTO Projects

After Hours - Windermere Benefit & Auction

Our annual parent-only event, After Hours - Windermere Benefit & Auction, will be held on Saturday, February 7th from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Amelita Mirolo Barn (Sunny 95 Park) at 4395 Carriage Hill Lane, Upper Arlington, OH 43220. Enjoy an evening with fellow parents, alumni, teachers & administrators, while raising money for the new Windermere Hawks Playground. Enjoy heavy hors d'oeuvres, dancing and cocktails, while browsing classroom art projects created by Windermere students. And new this year, enjoy our live auction with some exciting items! Beer and wine will be available for purchase by cash, check or credit the night of the event.

Tickets will be available for $25 per person online through January 30th, or in person outside of the main office on February 3rd from 2:30 PM - 6 PM. Tickets will also be available at the door the night of the event for $35 per person.

Not able to attend the event? Anyone can support the Windermere Playground by purchasing tickets for our 50/50 raffle. If ordering raffle tickets on-line you will receive the stubs in a small white envelope once you arrive at the event. Winners need not to be present to win. The raffle drawing will be made at approximately 10:00 p.m. at the event.

Tickets can be purchased in the Windermere Lobby:
  • February 3rd, 2:30-6 pm Special SACC hours: $25/per ticket

  • If tickets bought between January 12-January 30: $25/per ticket
  • If tickets bought at the door: $35/per ticket


50/50 Raffle Ticket Prices:

  • $10 per 1 ticket
  • $90 per 12 tickets
  • $20 per 3 tickets
  • $100 per 15 tickets
  • $40 per 6 tickets
  • $200 per 30 tickets
  • $60 per 9 tickets

Box Top Classroom Contest, February 9th - 13th


The students will receive a Ziploc baggie with their name on it. The students will place all of the General Mill's BOX TOPS their family has collected into the baggie and return it to their classroom teacher during the promotional dates of February 9-13.  The classroom that collects the most BOX TOPS will win a class party! Also, the student submitting the most Box Tops in each classroom will get a certificate and small prize.

Fall Family Fun Night

It was GREAT to see so many of our families Friday night at the annual PTO Fall Family Night! What a wonderful Windermere tradition. There was so much for the kids to do all evening, and can't thank our amazing PTO volunteers enough for their time, dedication and efforts for all that they do to put this community event together. The weather was perfect and what a great kick off for the season. Thank you to Crisi Acker and her co-chairs, Andra Gillum, Monica Moyer, Colleen O'Hara, Carol Allaire, and Michelle Hughes.

We would like to thank those who supported Fall Family Night:
• Huffman's Market donated all 500 hot dogs and buns.
• Kuhlwein Farm offer the hay bales and pumpkins at a great rate.
• Super Games provides inflatables at a deep discount.
• Giant Eagle covered $75 worth of food.
• Kroger donated a gift card of $45.
• Swan Cleaners donated $60 for the winners of the chili cook-off.
• Mr. Hudson, Mr. Kerstetter and Mr. Voldrich would provide campfire songs throughout the event.
• Our talented face-painters, Jason Howe and Brittney Burkey.
• Windermere parents and Hasting Middle Schools who volunteers their time and donated mums & firewood.

We also appreciate everyone who entered the Fall Family Night scarecrow and chili contests. The winners of our scarecrow contest were Teen-age Mutant Ninja Turtle (McCormick family), Darth Vader (Hudson family), and Darryl the Scarecrow (Skinner family). Congratulations to the winners of the chili cook-off: Teresa Petersen, McNair/ Drobny Duo and Patty Petersen. Not sure if they'll share their award-winning recipes!?!

We hope everyone who attended enjoyed the evening! It was a fun way to enjoy an evening as a school community and welcome in the fall season!

In addition, a special thanks to Jen Plahuta for another AMAZING book fair!!!
